Helping others has always been at the heart of Crescendo Life Coaching, LLC. Built on a foundation of service, encouragement, and personal growth, the business exists to help individuals move beyond feeling stuck and take meaningful steps toward the life they envision. For founder Lori Ellyn Guttman, that mission is deeply personal. After experiencing a life-changing transformation through the Brave Thinking Institute, she felt called to help others overcome personal and professional obstacles by shifting their mindset, clarifying their goals, and believing in what’s possible. Clients are equipped with practical tools to help create lasting change, including vision boards, one-on-one coaching, and exercises that encourage a new perspective. The focus is not on dwelling on challenges but on building a path forward. One guiding principle is simple: “Don’t pitch a tent for your problems.” Instead, clients are encouraged to focus on where they want to go and take intentional action to get there. Crescendo Life Coaching also recognizes the unique challenges that small business owners face. As Lori puts it, entrepreneurs often have big dreams but can find themselves wondering who they can turn to when they feel stuck. Coaching helps bridge the gap between where they are today and where they want to be, providing encouragement, accountability, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Originally from the Northeast, Lori took a leap of faith in 2021 by moving to Eastern North Carolina without ever visiting the area. Now proudly calling Winterville home, she has embraced the community through her work with the City of Greenville and the relationships she’s built along the way. She says she can’t imagine living anywhere else. Through a three-month coaching program featuring – weekly one-hour sessions, Crescendo Life Coaching helps clients transform “I wish” into “I can” and ultimately into “I am.” The goal is to help people develop a clear vision, embrace new possibilities, and confidently pursue the future they want to create. As Lori likes to say, “If you can see it in your head, you can hold it in your hands.”
