Crawl Space Pro is our newest family owned and operated business to join our membership!
Owner Kevin Johnson worked in the pest control business for years, where he was able to learn and gain experience in crawlspace work. When he moved to the area in 2018 he decided he wanted to specialize in order to provide the best service and experience possible. Now Crawl Space Pro provides encapsulation services, vapor barrier installations, dehumidifier installations, crawl space door installation, under home insulation repairs, wall liner installation, and even more – all as moisture control services for your home!
Serving ENC means they know first hand the effects our humid environment has on our crawlspaces, and as a result, the interior of our homes. They believe that if you seek to protect what’s under your house first, you can better protect what’s inside. Give a call to the pros to see what you should be doing to help protect your biggest investment at 252.320.8875.
Our newest member is our local State Employee’s Credit Union. Vice President and City Executive of Winterville’s branch, Kara Holland has a clear belief in what their financial institution does to support their members. A credit union is different from a bank in that each member is an owner in the institution and receives many benefits as such. Their loan and mortgage officers are salary based, not commission, so their most important goal is to serve their members in the best way possible – even if that means telling them a better deal could be found elsewhere. The SECU in Winterville is looking forward to becoming an even stronger part of our community and our Chamber! Learn more about what they do here and consider donating to their Toy Drive for the Maynard Children’s Hospital at ECU Health by dropping off toys before December 15th.
Off Road Realty is our next newest member to join us! Owner Lisa Wilson has been in the industry since 2014, first starting with a major name agency where she learned many of the skills she needed to start on her own, but in particular it helped her discover the need to go off-script in order to truly help people. This idea, plus her love for Jeeps, has combined to make Off Road Realty the perfect name.
Lisa says that home buying and selling can’t ever simply be a transaction; that its a personal and often emotional experience. You need a realtor on your side that is willing to get to know you and your needs to protect what’s most important to you.
You can contact the Off Road Realty team at email@example.com to find out how they can be the right fit for you!
Grace and Grit Mobile Thrift Store is the latest unique business to join our Chamber family! Owner Angela Cunningham takes pride in thoughtfully curating items and styles that you may not find in other stores, as well as being sure to offer something for everyone. Her unique business structure allows people the opportunity to shop in locations they may not otherwise be able to. Angie loves being able to help others shop sustainably and affordably with styles they love, which she believes helps to create a meaningful connection between the business and their customers. She offers motivational stickers and prayer cards with each purchase as it’s something positive to share, and offers a little piece of who they are.
If you’re interested in having Grace and Grit come to your business or event as a vendor you can reach them at firstname.lastname@example.org. Be sure to follow their socials to see where they’re going to be next!

Please help us welcome Barkyardigans Pet Pawlor to the Winterville Chamber family! This new pet grooming facility co-owned by Megan Norris and Nicholas Kowalski is set up to be a stress free grooming experience for your dog – or even cat! They schedule their grooming appointments so that each pet can come inside and be immediately cared for, instead of waiting in a kennel. Their cage-free environment eliminates much of the stress that makes our pets anxious to be groomed.
Megan says she’s been in the grooming world forever – she grew up with a Mom in the business. Working with pets all her life has given her an extra special touch and way with our four-legged friends.
You can visit Barkyardigans at 2598 Railroad Street in downtown Winterville.
Grandma Has Dementia is our newest member we are welcoming to our membership. Owner Carolyn McGinn started this journey from personal experience and seeing a need to be filled in our community. Carolyn is now a certified caregiver who can help families who have loved ones either living with dementia, newly diagnosed, or seeking a diagnosis. Carolyn is partnered with her niece, Raven Pellegrino, who brings her nursing background to further assist their mission.
If you or someone you know is struggling with what to do or where to start with helping your loved one with dementia, this is the duo to call. Carolyn and Raven do workshops, presentations, and 1-on-1 coaching to assist these families. They can be your first call, or your call for help.

East Carolina Kiddie College is another new member we are welcoming! Located at 4024-B Old Tar Road, this family owned daycare center is committed to the Winterville community. Owners Steffen and Tenisha McGhee have called Winterville home for many years, started their family here, and began their business owner journey here. Originally the couple were utilizing the services at ECKC for their own children when the opportunity came for them to take over the business. Being able to go from customer to owner gives them a unique perspective that allows them to better understand the needs and concerns of their customers, and help build lasting relationships with them. This power couple is committed to family, service, and education.
ECKC has two Pre-K classrooms with certified teachers, an after school program, and a daycare for infants and toddlers. Give them a call at 252.752.7002 to set up a walkthrough to see why ECKC is the best fit for your child!
Clarence Web Design is the newest member to join the Chamber family! Clarence Augustin came into web design naturally; by working in software development for years, he began helping friends, his church, and eventually other clients with their website needs. He’s now been working in web design for 7 years, and has a clear desire to help his community and fellow business owners. When working with Clarence you can expect him to create a unique website that represents your brand well while communicating effectively to your potential and future customers.
Clarence says he works hard to educate his clients so they feel confident in what he does for them. Making informed decisions and knowing what you’re getting for your dollar go a long way in building trust and confidence with his clients.
