Become a Scavenger Hunt Stop
Help us turn supporting local into an adventure!
Hunt Winterville encourages residents and visitors to explore Winterville, discover local businesses and organizations, and engage with our community in new ways. We invite businesses, nonprofits, churches, and community organizations to participate by creating scavenger hunt challenges for players to complete throughout the initiative.
How It Works
Participating organizations submit simple tasks through our online form. Once approved, your challenge will be added to the scavenger hunt platform for participants to complete.
Who Can Participate?
Businesses, nonprofits, churches, schools, community groups, and organizations are all welcome to participate.
You do not need to have a physical location in Winterville. However, your task must have a connection to Winterville and help participants engage with our community.
To participate, organizations must contribute at least one prize item to the scavenger hunt prize pool.
Participation Limits
- Chamber Members: Up to 2 tasks per month
- Non-Members: Up to 1 task per month
What Information Will I Need?
The best tasks are simple, fun, and easy to complete.
Examples include:
- Take a photo of our storefront.
- Find our sponsor banner at the ball field.
- Snap a selfie at our event.
- Check in at our business using GPS.
- Visit our booth at Market on the Square.
- Locate a hidden QR code.
- Find a specific item in our display.
- Visit our booth during a community event.
- Make a purchase and upload a receipt.
- Order a featured menu item.
Need Help Brainstorming?
Not every organization has an obvious scavenger hunt idea, and that’s okay! If you’d like to participate but need help creating a task, reach out to us. We’d be happy to help you come up with something creative that fits your organization and encourages people to explore Winterville.
