Community Awards

Through nominations provided by the public and subsequent voting on finalists, we present 6 businesses and community members with awards. Our categories are Business of the Year, Citizen of the Year, Teacher of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Favorite Spot to Shop, Most Dedicated Public Servant, and Favorite New Business.

Submissions don’t have to be a Chamber member, but do need to be in or near the Winterville town limits or involved in the community. Nominees cannot have won the award they’re being nominated for in the last 3 years. Previous winners can be nominated in new categories.

Including information about why your nominee(s) should be chosen aids in them becoming a finalist.

Nominations close on September 15th, voting on finalists will open shortly thereafter. Award recipients will be honored at our Annual Celebration in December.
