Thanksgiving Meals Initiative

First started in 2021, each year our Chamber executes our Thanksgiving Meals Initiative in an effort to ease the holiday burden for the underserved of our community.

How it works:

  • We partner with PCS social workers to identify families in the Winterville area who need a little extra help this season.
  • We collect donations to cover as many meals as possible.
  • The meals are then distributed to the families the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.

 

How you can help:

  • Donate: Each family’s meal costs $70 *checks are preferred, but online donations are accepted below*.
  • Share: Help spread the word with your friends, family, and colleagues to help us reach our goal of 80 families fed.
  • Volunteer: We need helping hands to assist with meal pickup, organization, and distribution.
