There’s a new face behind a familiar Winterville favorite!
Meating Ground Cafe is now under the ownership of Lindita Zeka, an Asheville transplant with a love for good food, good vibes, and the kind of welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. For Lindita, taking the reins at Meating Ground isn’t about changing what people have come to love. Instead, she hopes to build on the homey legacy already created here – cultivating the warmth, friendliness, and sense of community that have made the cafe feel like a neighborhood gathering place.
And, of course, there’s the food! Meating Ground serves up elevated comfort food for breakfast and lunch, with favorites ranging from sourdough French toast, biscuits and gravy, and signature crunch wraps to sandwiches, salads, burgers, and more. Pair it with something from their espresso bar, and you’ve got plenty of reasons to stop in, whether you’re meeting a friend for breakfast, grabbing lunch, or just looking for a good cup of coffee. As Lindita begins this new chapter, she’s excited to become part of the Winterville community while continuing to make Meating Ground a place that feels warm, familiar, and inviting – and getting to put her touch on things.
We’re excited to welcome Meating Ground Cafe and Lindita to the Winterville Chamber family – and to see what’s ahead for this local favorite!
