Previously an educator with PCS, then in a management role with this Sylvan location and others, Melissa Britner brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to education to her new role as owner. She is uniquely positioned to foster strong partnerships with local schools and create impactful educational opportunities for students.
Sylvan Learning Center stands out by offering traditional tutoring starting from age 4, but their services extend far beyond the typical student demographic. Melissa and her team are dedicated to helping anyone in need of academic support, including teachers pursuing continuing education, adults working towards their GED, and individuals preparing for various tests. Melissa proudly boasts that even if a specific program isn’t available now, she always finds the resources to ensure every student gets the assistance they need to succeed.
A crucial aspect of Sylvan’s approach is not only to help students improve their skills but also to maintain them, especially during winter and summer breaks. This focus ensures that students retain their progress and are well-prepared for the challenges ahead.
