Our July Chamber Champion is Spartan Pro Wash, a premier soft wash cleaning business founded by Chad Roeder, a dedicated veteran with a passion for excellence and service. Spartan Pro Wash stands out in the industry by offering a gentle, effective cleaning method that uses specialized chemicals to achieve a lasting clean without the risk of damage that traditional pressure washing can cause.
Chad’s journey to becoming a business owner is both unique and inspiring. Originally from Newburgh, Indiana, Chad served eight years in the United States Marine Corps, which brought him to North Carolina. It was here that he met his wife, Karen, while she was studying at East Carolina University. Faced with the decision to re-enlist or start a new chapter, Chad chose to prioritize his family and support his wife’s burgeoning career as a Speech Language Pathologist.
After leaving the Marine Corps, Chad struggled, like so many of us do, to find his new purpose. He took courses at both Pitt Community College and East Carolina University to help him find his calling, but it was a friend’s recommendation that set his new path. Feeling the call to serve his community, he enrolled in Basic Law Enforcement Training. Chad’s career in law enforcement spanned two decades, during which he served in various roles, including Deputy Sheriff with Edgecombe County Sheriff’s Office, Patrol, Warrant Squad, and Tactical Patrol with the Greenville Police Department, and Investigator with the Alcohol Law Enforcement division under Pitt County Alcohol Beverage Control.
After a long career of service, Chad desired a flexibility in his career that allowed him to focus on his family more. So in 2020, Chad decided to channel his skills and values into starting his own business, and Spartan Pro Wash was born. Built on the principles of integrity, world-class service, and a commitment to quality over quantity, Spartan Pro Wash has quickly become a trusted name in the community. Chad’s dedication to communication and building relationships is evident in the personalized service he provides to each client.
“Starting Spartan Pro Wash has been an adventure,” Chad shares. “My goal was to create a business based on integrity, providing world-class service, and prioritizing people over profits. I believe in the importance of communication and love meeting new people. I hope to pass this business onto my children, ensuring that Spartan Pro Wash remains a respected and integral part of the community for years to come.”
