The Winterville Chamber of Commerce celebrated the official ribbon cutting for Winterville Neighbors on Monday, June 23, at the Winterville Train Depot, recognizing the publication’s growing role in connecting and strengthening the local community.
While the magazine’s inaugural issue debuted in February, the ribbon cutting marked an opportunity to officially celebrate its launch and welcome Winterville Neighbors as a Chamber member.
More than a neighborhood magazine, Winterville Neighbors is a community storytelling and marketing platform designed to connect residents with the people, businesses, and organizations that make Winterville unique. By combining direct-mail print distribution with integrated digital marketing, the publication helps local businesses build visibility while sharing the stories that define the community.
Each monthly issue features local families, youth entrepreneurs, businesses, community events, recipes, pets, housing listings, and other stories that celebrate life in Winterville. The publication is built on the belief that when neighbors know one another and local businesses are supported, the entire community benefits.
Winterville Neighbors is led locally by Donnell Austin, who relocated to the area to be closer to her children and grandchildren. Guided by her commitment to family and faith, she is passionate about telling the stories that make Winterville special while creating meaningful connections between residents and local businesses.
The Winterville Chamber is proud to celebrate this milestone and looks forward to the continued impact Winterville Neighbors will have in highlighting the people, places, and businesses that make the community such a special place to call home.
