Our Chamber is proud to welcome Mission Critical Solutions, a financial technology consulting business founded by Robert Cronin. Launched in August 2025, Mission Critical draws on Robert’s full military career and his extensive experience flying for law enforcement, fire, and EMS. With a lifelong servant’s heart and a passion for supporting others, Robert now dedicates his work to helping small businesses keep more of their hard-earned money by simplifying payment processing and offering smarter, more affordable technology solutions.
Mission Critical specializes in reducing processing fees, upgrading payment technology, and streamlining how business owners get paid, often saving them thousands of dollars each year. As a local representative for multiple payment platforms, Robert gives business owners the flexibility to choose the systems that best fit their needs, whether they operate with cash, cards, or a combination of both. He also provides access to working capital and small-business lending, approaching every conversation with an “advice over sales” mindset informed by his own experiences running businesses in housing, restaurants, wholesaling, e-commerce, and online management. He understands firsthand how tight margins can be and takes pride in removing financial stress from business owners’ shoulders.
Deeply rooted in the Greenville area, Robert and his wife, a nurse and ECU alum, are raising their blended family of eight children in a community they actively support. They are strong advocates for ECU athletics, small businesses, Greenville Christian Academy, and local charitable efforts, including services for the homeless. Serving businesses from New Bern to Roanoke Rapids, Robert’s goal is simple: help any small business that needs it, build meaningful connections, and strengthen the local economy by ensuring more dollars stay in the community.
