Winterville Chamber of Commerce Announces 2026 BREW Program to Support Local Entrepreneurs
The Winterville Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the return of BREW: Building Resilient Entrepreneurs in Winterville, a comprehensive business development program designed to equip aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs with the skills, resources, and community connections they need to launch and grow their businesses.
This program is made possible through a partnership with the Town of Winterville and Pitt Community College Small Business Center, and is proudly sponsored by NCInnovation – The statewide public-private partnership supports and helps commercialize high-potential applied research from North Carolina’s public universities, with the goal to create real-world products, companies, and jobs that drive economic impact across the state.
The 2026 BREW cohort will guide participants through a structured series of sessions focused on business fundamentals, market research, financial readiness, branding, operations, and long-term planning. The program includes ten core classes, an introductory session, and a final showcase for graduates – offering a blend of practical instruction and hands-on learning.
In 2025, the BREW program proudly supported seven new businesses, each of which launched with greater clarity, confidence, and strategic readiness thanks to the resources and mentorship provided. Their success has demonstrated how intentional guidance and community support can truly accelerate entrepreneurial growth in Winterville.
BREW participants will receive:
- One-on-one counseling
- Mentorship from established business leaders
- Exclusive resources and templates
- Access to assistance with potential funding opportunities
- Opportunities to connect with local officials, investors, and community partners
The program is limited to 10 participants to ensure personalized support. Applications are open now, and there is no cost to apply. Those accepted will pay a $50 program fee. Participants who complete the program will graduate with a Winterville Chamber membership and be invited to present their business pitch at the BREW Finale at the end of the program.
This program is a launching pad for entrepreneurs who are serious about starting their business and are looking for resources to do so successfully and sustainably.
