The Winterville Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Pitt Community College Small Business Center and the Town of Winterville to bring entrepreneurs and Pitt County business owners a program that provides tools and resources for successful business development.

In the “Building Resilient Entrepreneurs in Winterville” Program, participants learn key skills and insights to run a profitable business, from financing options and taxation to marketing. At the end of the twelve-week program, participants will be prepared to launch their business as well as have gained valuable connections within the local business community.
BREW is a twelve-week, cohort-style program. Classes take place on Monday evenings in person at Pitt Community College. The program fee is $50 per accepted participant (no fee to apply). Pre registration is required and not all applicants are guaranteed acceptance. Class size is limited to 10 participants. Class topics include market research, financing, business taxes, bookkeeping, and legal considerations. Participants will graduate with a plan ready to implement for their business.

- Eligibility: Must plan to start a business or have launched within the past 12 months and be located in Pitt County, serving Winterville, NC.
Participants who successfully complete the program, including meeting mentorship and counseling requirements, will gain access to grant funding opportunities and receive a Winterville Chamber of Commerce membership, activated upon business launch.
