East Carolina Kiddie College is another new member we are welcoming! Located at 4024-B Old Tar Road, this family owned daycare center is committed to the Winterville community. Owners Steffen and Tenisha McGhee have called Winterville home for many years, started their family here, and began their business owner journey here. Originally the couple were utilizing the services at ECKC for their own children when the opportunity came for them to take over the business. Being able to go from customer to owner gives them a unique perspective that allows them to better understand the needs and concerns of their customers, and help build lasting relationships with them. This power couple is committed to family, service, and education.
ECKC has two Pre-K classrooms with certified teachers, an after school program, and a daycare for infants and toddlers. Give them a call at 252.752.7002 to set up a walkthrough to see why ECKC is the best fit for your child!
Clarence Web Design is the newest member to join the Chamber family! Clarence Augustin came into web design naturally; by working in software development for years, he began helping friends, his church, and eventually other clients with their website needs. He’s now been working in web design for 7 years, and has a clear desire to help his community and fellow business owners. When working with Clarence you can expect him to create a unique website that represents your brand well while communicating effectively to your potential and future customers.
Clarence says he works hard to educate his clients so they feel confident in what he does for them. Making informed decisions and knowing what you’re getting for your dollar go a long way in building trust and confidence with his clients.

Every year the Winterville Chamber partners with the Town of Winterville to host the Opening Ceremony for the Winterville Watermelon Festival. This year we were unfortunately rained out on Thursday, but we kicked things off right on Friday! Our very own Tony Smart was kind enough to sing the National Anthem for us, then Town Councilwoman Veronica Roberson, Mayor Ricky Hines, Winterville Chamber Director Rebecca Caveness, and Town Councilman Paul Rice assisted in cutting the first official watermelon of the festival!

Every year we celebrate our wonderful schools by treating them with Back to School Breakfasts! For the past couple of years we have done snack boxes instead, but this year we gave our schools the choice, and had 3 schools choose breakfasts and 3 choose snack boxes.
We just completed the breakfasts and we are so grateful to those that assisted! We hope Ridgewood Elementary, Creekside Elementary, and AG Cox Middle Schools enjoyed their breakfasts and it helps start the school year off on the right note.
Thank you to Chick-fil-a of Winterville for your generous donations to make this possible!
After raising money all summer long, we finally had WH Robinson’s Spirit Rock paid for and delivered! This is all thanks to our fantastic membership, but an extra “Thank You” goes to a few who donated to help make this happen:
